My cartoon doppelganger: Jeremy Johnson

I found my doppelgänger recently while vanity surfing my name (and you don’t??). Someone my son would probably know before me. His name: Jeremy Johnson, and he’s on Disney’s Phineas and Ferb, which stars a boy with a triangle for a head.

Let’s meet my cartoon counterpart. According to the Phineas and Ferb wiki he’s 16, works at Mr. Slushy Dawg (burger joint, sounds like some place I’d hang out), and has a band called Jeremy and the incidentals (which I now plan on naming my UX group). He’s also dating one of the main character’s sister (my wife is someone’s sister), and his mom’s name is Mrs. Johnson (mine too!).

He’s described as:

Jeremy Johnson is a fairly relaxed individual, not letting himself getting hung up on the little details. He is usually kind and friendly to everyone. Jeremy is laid-back, calm, and likes to participate in many things, such as Phineas and Ferb’s projects.

Sound like me?

Jeremy is voiced by Mitchel Musso – who was born and raised in… wait for it… Garland, Texas (here in the Dallas area). Here he is explaining his character.

There you have it. My doppelgänger, a cartoon version of me when I was young, lurking in plain sight on the Disney channel.

What do you think? Maybe I know one of the animators from high school? However he came to be he represents the Jeremy Johnson name well ;-)
